Documentation requests are a normal part of spice evaluation. They help buyers compare products, prepare internal approvals and plan destination requirements before commercial volumes are confirmed.

Requests vary by company and market, but most evaluation packs sit around a familiar set of documents.
- Product specifications for format, characteristics and key parameters
- Certificates of analysis or batch-linked test summaries where applicable
- Supporting quality or process notes requested during review
- Packaging and labelling information relevant to the destination brief
Share context with the document request
A document request is clearer when it includes the product, intended use, destination market and the approval stage you are preparing for. That helps the team release the right information for evaluation rather than a generic pack.
If the request is for a private-label or export programme, note packaging format and any buyer-side compliance checklist already in use.
